Born in Washington in December 2012, the Spirit joined the National Women's Soccer League in its inaugural season. Proudly restoring the legacy established by the Washington Freedom, this kit elevates the history and tradition of women's professional soccer in DC.
During the 2022 Challenge Cup, we rally behind our community partners who serve the youth of DC, Virginia and Maryland with the undeniable belief of reaching the top, no matter how big the hurdles. Our matchday jerseys will be auctioned to raise funds for these organizations who won't be held back from their missions of service.
