Hi! I am a multidisciplinary designer based in Washington, DC, currently working at DC United as a Graphic Designer. I hold a BFA in Graphic Design with Concentrations in Photography and Book Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
In my design practice.. I lean toward branding and publication because of the aspect of collaboration and communication between myself and designers with other specialties. In my work, I love working with, color, texture, depth (layered, collage work/ 3D space), and grids. I find the relationship between structured and inorganic, fluid forms to be captivating.
When I'm looking for inspiration.. I turn to photography, musical visualization, short films, my old writings, and sometimes I just sit in crowded space and observe. I've always found human behavior/ interaction fascinating and inspiring in its own way.
